A chemical peel is an elective cosmetic procedure in which a chemical solution
removes the damaged outer layer of facial skin to improve the texture and
treat fine wrinkles. Different chemicals are used for the peels depending
upon the desired results. Common chemical peels include glycolic acid, tricholoroacetic
acid (TCA), phenol, and Obagi Blue peels.
